The main reason LeBLANC wants to use renewable energy is that ICT is responsible for 2% of global CO2 emissions. Knowing this LeBLANC has strategically partnered up with Eveready Diversified Products (PTY) Ltd to bring wind powered telecom.

Wind is the perfect renewable source as it is unlimited, profitable, and environmentally friendly. Using wind to power telecommunications will save non-renewable energy sources, and help maintain our planet. Our turbines have been aerodynamically designed to be able to use low winds speeds to create energy, meaning that a gale does not need to blow in order for our turbine to work.

Our systems works by blades capturing the winds energy. The blades turn the generator which converts the blade rotation to the energy into electricity. The turbines can collect from upwind and downwind. Upwind turbines have tails, as downwind turbines do not. The unique rotor specifically designed for each turbine maintains the speed and the output adding to the overall efficiency.

LeBLANC / Kestrel Partnership

LeBLANC Communications has signed an agreement with Eveready Diversified Products (PTY) Ltd who are the manufacturers and suppliers of the Kestrel Wind Turbines. This partnership has given LeBLANC exclusive coverage in the Middle East, South East Asia, Australasia and most parts of Africa. All of the LeBLANC personnel involved have been trained at the Kestrel premises for excellence in consultancy and installation of wind products.

Environmental Impact

PV cells use no fuel during operation (other than sunlight of course). Our wind turbines maximize system efficiency with consistency of solar. Either of these do not emit atmospheric or water pollutants. They require no water for the cooling process. Our whole system does not contribute to global warming or acid rain, making our planet a better place to work in.
