In Indonesia the many Base Transceiver Station (BTS) towers have been a hindrance or an ‘eyesore’ to many potential socio economic developments. In accordance, the government is taking the effort to relocate the existing towers in order to fast track the said developments and bring positive impacts against the surrounding people’s lives.

However the importance of BTS towers can’t be denied as the tower establishment becomes a vital need towards every cellular operator in order to be able to reach remote areas and win the market down to the low level communities.

Some of solutions put forward were the development of BTS camouflage towers as well as the installation of BTS in Mosque Towers. The BTS solution with Mosque Towers becomes the most economical alternative with great advantages toward the surrounding people’s benefit, without disturbing the functions and aesthetics of the mosque tower itself.

Following the need in the above mentioned BTS development, ABLI has embarked on the project to provide total solution in developing the Mosques Towers (Minaret) project. ABLI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the YPPU-DMI. YPPU-DMI participates in the project through its business unit PT. Global Indonesia Komunikatama (PTGIK). 

The project, will involve the construction, after-sales service, management and supply of telecommunications infrastructure support structures within the grounds of existing or newly-erected mosques in Jakarta, Indonesia.
